Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41
The echo of origins

Rolesor version that consecrates 100 years of watchmaking achievements and perpetuates the echo of its origins.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is offered in an unprecedented configuration that expresses with strength, simplicity and elegance, the quintessence of a watch according to Rolex. On this timepiece, presented in a yellow Rolesor version, the association of metals is manifested in a bezel and winding crown crafted from yellow gold, married with a case and bracelet in Oystersteel. These touches of yellow gold recall the case elements of some early Oyster watches.

Yellow Rolesor
An alliance of alloys

A signature feature of the brand since the early 1930s, Rolesor combines gold and steel in a meeting of sophistication and strength. The concept is simple: certain elements of the case and bracelet are made of yellow, white or Everose gold, while others are made of Oystersteel.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 in a yellow Rolesor version reinterprets this aesthetic. It pairs a bezel and winding crown in yellow gold with a bracelet made entirely of Oystersteel, whereas typically on Rolex watches in yellow Rolesor versions the centre links of the bracelet are in yellow gold.

Slate dial
A celebration of 100 years of the Oyster

On the slate dial – a new colour for the Oyster Perpetual range – the inscription ‘100 years’ appears at 6 o’clock in place of the usual ‘Swiss Made’ marking. Moreover, each five-minute interval on the minute track is denoted by a green square, and the name ‘Rolex’ is pad printed in the same green, the brand’s emblematic colour.

Two luxury wristwatches are displayed. The left watch has a black strap, a diamond-encrusted bezel, and a mother-of-pearl dial with chronograph sub-dials. The right watch features a stainless-steel bracelet, a diamond bezel, and a pink-tinted mother-of-pearl dial.

Oyster case A symbol of waterproofness

The Oyster case of the Oyster Perpetual 41 is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet). The middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel and crowned with a domed bezel. Its case back, edged with fine fluting, is hermetically screwed down with a special tool employed by approved watchmakers. The Twinlock winding crown, fitted with a double waterproofness system, screws down securely against the case. The crystal is made of virtually scratchproof sapphire and benefits from an anti-reflective coating. The winding crown features the number 100 in relief.

Oyster bracelet
Iconic and robust

Developed in the late 1930s, the Oyster bracelet is fitted on all the watches in the Oyster Perpetual range. Robust, comfortable and elegant, this metal bracelet comprises rows of three broad and slightly curved links. The Oyster bracelet on the Oyster Perpetual 41 is equipped with an Oysterclasp and also includes the Easylink comfort extension link, which allows the wearer to easily adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm for instant additional comfort.

Calibre 3230
A distillation of technology

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is equipped with calibre 3230, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement, which incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring and the Chronergy escapement, delivers outstanding performance, particularly in terms of precision, autonomy, convenience and reliability. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours thanks to its barrel architecture and the escapement’s superior efficiency.

Superlative Chronometer certification

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive designation is issued to each watch leaving the Rolex workshops, attesting to its excellent performance on the wrist. This in-house certification is strictly controlled by internationally recognized, independent Swiss entities.

In 2026, the Superlative Chronometer certification has been strengthened with the addition of three new testing criteria: resistance to magnetism, reliability and sustainability. These criteria are implemented throughout the design and manufacturing stages of each timepiece – hundreds of checks and validations directly related to the watch’s performance are carried out during these phases. They supplement the criteria established when the certification was redefined in 2015 governing precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve. That year, Rolex set up an exclusive testing protocol for its finished watches, conducted inside the manufacture on fully automated equipment. The precision requirements are particularly stringent: measured after casing the movement, the watch’s accuracy must be between –2 and +2 seconds per day. The rate deviation tolerated by the brand for the precision of a finished watch is significantly smaller than that accepted for official certification of the movement alone.

The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
